A foam fire cabinet is a product that contains a foam tank in addition to traditional water spray systems, and these foam tanks are used in fires. Unlike water-based fire suppression, the system used is more effective than water-based fire suppression depending on the type of fires that may occur in the building. It has some advantages and some disadvantages. While water sprinkler systems offer a long-term response capability because they draw water from the mains, foam systems offer a response capability that is limited by the size of the tanks. This is an issue that needs to be properly analyzed and offered to customers that our experts feel are suitable for this product.

Foam tanks generally have a capacity of 40 liters and a pressure capacity of 10 to 12 bar, which allows them to extinguish fires more quickly than water sprays and to prevent sparks more quickly. For this range of products, the contents of the building and the type of fire that can be caused by the materials it contains have been studied and a report prepared and recommended accordingly. Like the classic fire cabinets, it is red in color and its outer surface is painted with electrostatic paint to preserve its color for a long time and to resist rust.

As a result of the evaluation of the structures, it is possible that the contents of the foam fire cabinet also differ. The possibility of intervention limited with foam is offered in a more qualified protection by connection to the water source. Roller systems can be stored for a long time thanks to their structure that prevents oxidation and can be used without any problems in emergency situations for the specified periods.

Foam fire protection systems require user education and training. A limited amount of foam has to be used in the right place. It works between 5 and 8 meters during application.
